Parade permit instructions & basic information

Parade permits should be submitted as far in advance as possible.

When checking yes or no for a police escort here is what that means:

• Yes- is for a parade that is in the street, streets need to be closed, police presence will be required.
• No- is for walking on sidewalks only, requires no streets to be closed, no police presence.

Police coordination is through Lt. Nelson at PPD Ext. 1102

Note: State permits are required if you plan to travel on or restrict travel on any state roads, including SW Court and SW Dorion avenues. For state permits, you will need to file separately through the local ODOT office. Please call 541-278-3450 for more information on state permits.
