Statement of significance:
This exemplary Craftsman Bungalow sits prominently at the corner of Main Street and Despain Avenue. The large central dormer features an arched opening with four multi-pane casement windows. Second story floor and roof beams project through the end wall of the house. A two story rectangular bay with projecting roof beams is also situated on the end wall. The various window types include one-over-one and multi-pane double-hung, multi-pane casement and fixed, and the more typical Craftsman transom windows. Brick piers and chimney are decorated with random stones projecting from the surface. This detail is repeated in brick 'posts' located at various points along the concrete retaining wall.
