National Night Out: "Hot Dogs & Open Swim"

Join us at the Pendleton Aquatic Center, August 5, 2014 from 6 to 9 PM

Celebrate our community with a free night at the Pendleton Aquatics Center, children’s games with prizes, hot dogs and cotton candy.  Children under 16 must be accompanied by a parent.

The Pendleton Police Department will have displays for residents to interact with including SWAT equipment, department patrol cars and golf cart rides.  The event is also supported by the National Guard, Pendleton Fire Department, Parks and Recreation and the City Library.

National Night Out will be celebrated with thousands of communities nationwide for crime and drug prevention awareness. 

  • Heighten crime and drug prevention awareness;
  • Generate support for, and participation in, local anti-crime programs;
  • Strengthen neighborhood spirit and police-community partnerships; and
  • Send a message to criminals that neighborhoods are organized and fighting back.

Be sure to bring your bathing suit, towel and a beach chair!
