Mayor Houk swore in Dr. Jake Cambier to be the newest City Councilor at the City Council meeting Tuesday night.  Dr. Cambier replaces Al Plute, who recently resigned his seat on the Council, in the at-large position.

Dr. Cambier is a retired physician who has lived in Pendleton since 1978 with his wife of 46 years, Cathy.  He said he applied because he wants to "give back to the community."  He has previously served on the school board for 10 years, raised all 4 of his children in this community, and said he is "anxious to help the council, the mayor and Pendleton citizens move forward on a positive note".

Congratulations to Dr. Cambier!!
